A second woman has accused former Calumet hockey player Ben Johnson of sexual impropriety at a Windsor, Ontario nightclub. Johnson is on trial in Windsor for allegedly sexually accosting a woman in a restroom at the Krooked Kilt bar in January of 2013. The second woman testified on Friday. The Windsor Star reports that she told the court that she is an acquaintance of the alleged victim. She said she encountered Johnson in the restroom, where he exposed himself, and requested sex. She testified that several of Johnson’s teammates on the Windsor Spitfires hockey team entered the restroom, and told Johnson to let her go. She did not report the incident, saying that Johnson appeared to be drunk, and she laughed it off at the time. Both of the alleged incidents at the Krooked Kilt are said to have occurred in the men’s restroom. Witnesses have testified that it was common for women to use that facility when the small women’s restroom was occupied. Johnson’s trial will continue Monday. He also faces a separate charge for a similar incident that allegedly took place at another bar.
