Hancock- The Copper Country Community Arts Center is hosting its first Second Saturday Coffee Talk on Saturday, June 10th at 11am. In these informal talks, artists will share their work and process. This Saturday’s artist is Karen Tembreull.
Karen Tembreull has been harvesting local materials and making basketry forms since 1983. She has been teaching her unique pieces since the early 90’s. Her work incorporates fiber applications such as – appliqué, lace making, fabrication, and handmade cordage, as well as traditional basketry techniques.
The Copper Country Community Arts Center is located at 126 Quincy Street in Hancock. Coffee talks with artists are free and informal. The CCCAC will provide the coffee and a local artist. Please call 482-2333 by Friday, June 9th to RSVP.
