The case against a Hancock man who allegedly attacked another man with a knife is moving forward.
27-year-old Joseph Schreiber appeared in 97th District Court where he waived his preliminary hearing and was bound over to Houghton County Circuit Court.
Schreiber is charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, a four year felony.
Police say he showed up to purchase marijuana on June 2nd from 29-year-old Andrew Rohrer armed with two knives and a taser.
The two men allegedly fought over a knife, both suffering minor wounds.
Rohrer has a pending preliminary hearing for a felony charge of Delivery/Manufacture of Marijuana, also a four year felony.
In the meantime, Schreiber remains lodged in the Houghton County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
