Sanders to Stump for Al-Sayed

With the primary less than a week away, U-S Senator Bernie Sanders will visit our state to support Democratic candidate Abdul El-Sayed. Sanders will speak at two rallies in southeast Michigan. Sanders endorsed El-Sayed last week. So did Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the progressive candidate who recently upset incumbent 10-term incumbent congressman Joe Crowley in a New York Democratic primary. El-Sayed is facing Gretchen Whitmer and Shri Thanedar in the Michigan Democratic primary on Tuesday.
