The search continues for an escaped inmate from the Houghton County Jail.
34–year–old John Sattio has been on the run since Friday, when he escaped custody as he was escorted from the Houghton County Courthouse back to the jail.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office says they received a call around 9:00pm Tuesday night from a home owner in Flintville, Wisconsin who said that someone fitting Sattio’s description knocked on their door.
Flintville is approximately 12 miles north of Green Bay.
When police arrived on scene, they did not find the escapee.
Police in the Flintville will have increased patrols in that area through Thursday night.
