Roll Over Accident in Torch Lake Township

An Atlantic Mine man was injured in a roll over accident last night. Yesterday at around 9 pm deputies from the Houghton County Sheriff were dispatched to the rolled over vehicle. The incident occurred 0.3 miles north of Bluewater Drive in Torch Lake Township. The driver of the vehicle was a 50 year old male, he was transported to Aspires Keweenaw Hospital before being transported to UP Health Systems Marquette for his injuries. Houghton county Sheriff was assisted by the Bootjack Fire Department, first responders, Mercy Ambulance and Superior Service Towing. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
