Roadblocks Mount For Lansing Casino

The Sault St. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians expects to hear soon from the federal government on their application to bring a casino to Lansing.

Attorney John Wernet represents the tribe.  He says they expect continued court challenges.

The $245-million plan that calls for building a casino across from the Lansing Center has been challenged by the State Attorney General and is still being challenged by two other Native American Tribes.
