Road Resurfacing Project Underway In Mohawk

It shouldn’t cause much of a delay but motorists should be aware of a road project now underway in Mohawk.

The Michigan Department of Transportation is resurfacing about 1.3 miles of U.S. 41 in Keweenaw County between No. 6 Road and First Street.

MDOT is investing $350,000 in the project, which is expected to be completed by the end of the month.

The project does require lane closures under flag control.
