General Motors and Michigan Tech’s Great Lakes Research Center are teaming up for this year’s Ride the Waves program, which gives local students in grades 4th through 12th a chance to explore the local bodies of water with MTU scientists. There are four different programs that are each four hours long and will accommodate about 14 youth and chaperones. For details on these programs and how to register, click here. Groups of five or more students will be given preference in scheduling.
