Revenge Porn Bills Pass MI House

It’s called “Revenge porn.”

The Michigan House passed a series of bills cracking down on people who maliciously post explicit pictures of others, without the other person’s consent.

Under the bill, a second offense could result in a year in jail and a $1,000 fine.

The photos are often referred to as “revenge porn” because they’re often posted by one person when a relationship ends.
