Revamped Pastyfest Brings Celebration Downtown

Many people in the Copper Country already know what they’re having for lunch on Saturday—a delicious pasty!

That’s because the annual Pastyfest celebration will be taking place in Calumet starting at 11:00am.

The parade will line up on Mine Street facing 6th Street Extension this year and head north down 6th Street, ending at Elm Street.

The event will continue as a street fair on 5th Street with live music, vendors and a chalk art competition.

As you enjoy the festival, pick your pasty from your favorite local restaurant

You can also stop by the Keweenaw Heritage Center for the Cool Cars from Near and Far Classic Car and Truck Show or take part in the PastyFest Horseshoe Tournament at Agassiz Park.
