Renewing Medical Certificates

With construction season in full swing, commercial drivers in Houghton County that need to renew their medical certificates do not have to go far to get that done. Many are unaware that Aspirus Keweenaw has four providers between the Lake Linden, Laurium and Houghton clinics who are listed on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. Dr. Glenn Kauppila is one of those examiners and he says it is important to keep your paperwork up to date.

Kauppila adds that the examination is generally standard.

All commercial drivers in Houghton County whose current medical certificate expires on or after May 21st are encouraged to contact one of the examiners to set up an appointment.
