During the summer Michigan Tech engages with students preparing for college to help explore their passions. The university’s summer youth programs offer a variety of opportunities to students that are designed to provide hands-on exploration. Each day during summer youth programming students learn while inside state-of-the-art classrooms, or while out in the field with Michigan Tech faculty staff, and students. And in the evening youth participate in activities, games, and recreation while exploring the campus and meeting young people from around the globe. Summer youth programs at Michigan Tech have begun to accept 6th to 11th-grade students for the upcoming program for summer 2024. There are both live-in and commuting options available to students.
