Registration Open For Bowl For Kids Fundraiser

When it comes to helping kids, everyone can bowl a perfect game.

Registration is now open for the 24th Annual Copper Country Bowl for Kids.

The event supports Big Brothers—Big Sisters of U.P. Kids and is scheduled to take place on Saturday – March 19 at the Mine Shaft in Houghton.

There will be bowling sessions starting at Noon, 2PM, and 4PM.

Program Director Maggie Munch talks about the importance of this fundraiser.

Individuals and Teams of 4 to 8 people are welcome to register with a $37 minimum per bowler.

Participants will get 2 hours of bowling, free pizza, and be entered into a drawing.

Munch says people come up with a lot of creative ways to raise their money.

The 24th Annual Copper Country Bowl for Kids is scheduled to take place on Saturday – March 19, 2016 with bowling sessions starting at Noon, 2PM, and 4PM at the Mine Shaft in Houghton.

This event is definitely not about the bowling; it’s about having FUN for a good cause, so anyone can participate!  Individuals and Teams of 4 to 8 people are welcome to register for this special event and help U.P.Kids Big Brothers Big Sisters to raise funds for local mentoring programs exclusively benefiting children and youth in the Copper Country.  Each participant raises pledges with a minimum of $37 per bowler.  In addition, Teams can hold a mini-fundraiser prior to the event to raise funds as a group.  With $37 minimum per bowler you are eligible for 2 hours of bowling, pizza compliments of Pizza Hut, an entry in the “Everyday Heroes” Drawing, great prizes and a lot of FUN!  Plus, raise more money and you’ll qualify for more prizes!
