Recap of Keweenaw Job Fair

The first ever Keweenaw Job Fair was held yesterday at the Jutila Center in Hancock and the turnout was very positive. The event was organized by members of Finlandia University and Michigan Works. And all kinds of opportunities were available. Employers spoke with interested job-seekers to find out what they were looking for. Brian Donnely from River Valley Bank says he is looking to take advantage of this chance to meet many people. The event also held seminars on many things including how to write a resume and what to expect at an interview. Everything a prospect job-seeker wanted was available. The main goal of this event is to make sure it can be an annual job fair for years to come.
