A Wisconsin man currently serving 20 to 40 years in prison on several charges, including armed robbery, will be back in court next month for a hearing regarding his possible re–sentencing.
49-year old Bernard Fish was arrested after a home invasion in Watton back in 2013.
He was later sentenced in Baraga County Circuit Court.
Earlier this year, an opinion by the Michigan Court of Appeals revealed that Fish’s original sentence could be altered due to a recent Supreme Court decision that rendered Michigan’s sentencing guidelines advisory.
Fish is expected to be in court for that hearing on July 19th.
