Public Invited To Portage Lake District Library's 10th Anniversary

It’s hard to picture the Houghton waterfront without the Portage Lake District Library.

For ten years, the community has been enjoying the library at their current location and that’s an anniversary they want to celebrate.

Today from noon to 3pm, the library will be serving cake and beverages in the community room.

Been avoiding the library because of overdue fines?

Patrons who visit the library during the event can get up to $10 in Fine Forgiveness.
