A member of the Michigan Capitol Commission says they’ve discovered graffiti on some State Capitol Building walls, in the wake of Tuesday night’s protests.
The protesters were demonstrating against Governor Rick Snyder during his State of the State Address.
John Truscott says the damage estimate is likely to be in the thousands of dollars.
He says the commission will pursue whoever did the vandalism because they want to send a message regarding graffiti on the capitol building.
The messages were critical of the governor.
