Proposed Ordinance for Open Fires in Hancock

Regulations are coming for open fires and burning in the city of Hancock. A new ordinance was proposed last night at the Hancock City Council meeting. City Manager Glenn Anderson says the ordinance came from complaints by residents and police officers and will outline what you can and can’t do.

A public hearing regarding this ordinance is scheduled for December 17th.
