Program To Help Foster Kids Off To A Good Start

It’s the midway point of a five year pilot program meant to reduce the number of children up to five years old from entering foster care.

Bob Wheaton, with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, says they are on track to help 1,000 families.

At the end of five years, the program will be evaluated to see if they would like to expand into additional counties in the state.
