Pro-Life Group Protests Fed Funding for Planned Parenthood

Pro-life organizations held a protest in Lansing against federal funding for Planned Parenthood.

Maria Gatica of Students for Life of America says Planned Parenthood has been participating in illegal activities for years ranging from covering up sex-trafficking to not reporting statutory rape.

She says her group would like Planned Parenthood investigated and are calling for an end of federal funding for the organization.

She says the SFLA is also calling for presidential candidates to pledge to pull federal funding from Planned Parenthood.

SFLA and Pro-Life Future planned rallies across the U.S. following the recent release of controversial undercover videos in which Planned Parenthood officials seemingly talk about the sale of aborted fetuses.
