A plea deal has been reached in the case of a Calumet man who was the subject of a high speed chase earlier this year.
33-year-old Patrick Shea appeared in Houghton County Circuit Court Wednesday for a pretrial.
He was facing several felonies including 2nd degree home invasion involving an incident on March 31st.
Three charges were dismissed and Shea pled guilty to Fleeing and Eluding, a felony punishable by up to five years in prison.
He is also expected to plead guilty to Driving While Impaired in 97th District Court as part of the plea agreement.
Sentencing will take place in about four weeks.
