Peters Helps Secure Additional Great Lakes Funding

U.S. Senator Gary Peters has secured Senate approval of an extra nine million dollars for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.

The additional money would push GLRI funding to 310 million dollars. There’s no word as to what projects he extra cash would be used for.

The bill now proceeds to the U.S. House of Representatives.
