Parents Encouraged To Ask About Guns In Homes

For National “Ask” Day, law enforcement is encouraging parents to ask relatives or friends watching their kids if they have guns in their home and if they are secure.

Washtenaw County Commission Chairwoman Felicia Brabec says its critical that homes are safe with school being out.

In Michigan last year, there were 17 accidental shootings involving kids, seven were fatal.
