Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center Expands the Community Outpatient Clinic in Hancock

The Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center expands its Community Outpatient Clinic in Hancock. Recently the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center announced that it has expanded its space at 787 Market Street, to improve veterans’ experience while visiting for medical services. The additional space allows the Johnson VA Medical Center to accommodate a third primary care provider while continuing to serve mental health and various specialty care services through telehealth technology. The Johnson VA Medical Center provides medical services to more than 1700 veterans in the Copper Country. Medical Center Director John Shealey says their team is excited to expand the center’s service capabilities. The medical center is one of eight community outpatient clinics in the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin, with others located in Menominee, Marquette, Manistique, Sault Ste Marie, ironwood, and Rhinelander Wisconsin.
