Ontonagon Woman Injured While Trying To Avoid Hitting A Deer

An Ontonagon Woman is injured after trying to avoid hitting a deer.

The Ontonagon Sheriff’s Department says Mykenna Voss was traveling south on Daniels Road just north of M-38.

At about 8:15 last night, she says she saw a deer on the road.

Voss says she is not sure how she lost control of the vehicle but she ended up sliding sideways for about 100ft until hitting a tree, which spun the front of the vehicle toward the road.

The vehicle then continued downhill, overturning several times.

Voss was taken to Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital.  Her condition has not been reported.
