Ontonagon Celebrates Labor Day with Annual Festival

Ontonagon will celebrate Labor Day with many activities and events around the village. Camp Josh started the weekend early last night with a Veteran Appreciation lunch. And today’s activities include breakfast in the town, and the Squeeze on Main before the Ontonagon Area School Trojans take the field for the start of the high school football season. At the tailgate, visitors can meet the team and enjoy some food. Saturday activities include food music and dancing all day before a fireworks show at night. Then on Sunday, the community sees the Squeeze on main return, as well as morning registration for the 2024 Ed Hansen Memorial Run Walk and Roll. There’s also the Ontonagon Labor Day parade that starts at 2 pm tomorrow. Or stop by Community Fest at the Village Recreation building.
