End of life care is an essential service and one that the Omega House has been providing for the last ten years.
To mark that anniversary and to create awareness of what they do, Omega House is hosting their annual Hike for the House Memorial Walk on Saturday.
Over 400 people have lived and died at Omega House since they opened and Development Director Ray Weglarz says no one has ever been turned away for financial reasons.
Registration for the walk begins at the Kestner Waterfront Park in Houghton Saturday at 9am with the walk starting at 10:00am.
Omega House is also hosting a series of other events as part of their anniversary celebration beginning tonight.
