Officers Elected At Hancock Public Schools Organizational Meeting

The Hancock School District has their people in place following their annual organizational meeting Monday.

Officers were elected at the meeting: Chuck Paoli as President; Paula Nutini as Vice President; Mary Babcock as Secretary; and Michele Blau as treasurer.

Babcock and Blau are new to their positions while Paoli and Nutini are returning to theirs.

The Board approved Randy Heinonen as the softball coach.

In other business…the board addressed the annual designation of signatories.

Blau will be the representative for MASB and CCASB.

Nutini will represent the Board on the HPS Foundation as well as the Finlandia-Hancock Campus and Community Together For Good committee.

Also, it is Board recognition month – certificates were presented (& a cake was served) to thank the members of the Hancock School Board: Paoli, Nutini, Blau, Babcock and Chris Heikkinen, Kevin Kalinec and Steve Lancour.
