Obama Says He Will Visit Flint

President Barack Obama will visit Flint next week after an eight-year-old girl e-mailed him about the water crisis.

Mari Copeny wrote that she is one of the children affected by the water and she’s been doing her best to march in protest and to speak out for all the kids that live in Flint.

President Obama responded, saying he will visit her city to “make sure people like her and her family are receiving the help they need and deserve.”

Congressman Dan Kildee, of Flint, says he thanks President Obama for keeping the focus on Flint families affected by the water crisis.
