No Hunting Related Deaths In 2015

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources says no hunting-related fatalities were reported during the state’s 2015 hunting seasons.

It was the second year in a row without a weapon-related fatality.

The state says 13 injuries were reported last year, many the result of self-inflicted gunshots.

Six of the 13 injury victims were deer hunters.
