New Keweenaw Smartphone App Launched

There are countless things to do and places to eat in the Keweenaw.

To help you navigate the area, the Keweenaw Convention and Visitors Bureau has launched a brand new app for your Smartphone.

The app was designed by Indiana-based Bluebridge and contains information on many of the shopping, dining, lodging and local attractions that can be found in Houghton and Keweenaw Counties.

Information on the app is updated every month and, more importantly, the app works with or without cell phone service.

Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau President Dianne St. Amour said, “One of the issues that some of our guests or tourists seem to have is that once you get a little further north, cell phone service and Wi-Fi is a little spotty. So, with this, once this app is downloaded, you won’t need to have those two services in order to be able to find things around the Keweenaw.”

The app is available to download free from the app store and Google Play.
