New CEO at Marquette General Hospital

Marquette General Hospital now has a new chief executive officer. Ed Banos has been named CEO, effective immediately. He had been president and chief operating officer of the hospital since last May. He will take over for Gary Muller who stepped down from the CEO position at MGH at the end of the year. He’ll continue serving as president and CEO of Superior Health Partners until his scheduled retirement in February. MGH officials say Banos has more than 25 years of experience in hospital administration and health care executive roles.
