New App For Pets

There’s an app for everything, including first aid for your pet. This one is from the American Red Cross. Kelly Hudson at the American Red Cross of West Michigan says it has advice for dog and cat owners, covering 25 common emergencies. The pet app has data storage so you can track your animal’s weight and vaccinations. Hudson says pet owners can put in their veterinarian’s name and phone number and the app can make that call in an emergency. The Red Cross’ “Pet First Aid App” is a 99-cent download for both Apple and Android platforms with proceeds helping to fund the Red Cross operations.
