This month, Michigan Tech will be holding two summer science camps for elementary school students. The camps will be held at the Nara Nature Park as well as the Great Lakes Research Center. The three-day camps will be from 9am to 4pm on June 17th to the 19th and the 24th to the 26th. The camps are split into grade groups with first through third in one group and 4th through 6th in the other. The camps will be staffed by the staff of the Western UP Center for Science, Mathematics and Environmental Education, Michigan Tech students and certified teachers. Deadline for registration is Tuesday, June 10th, and sessions are limited to 20 students each. For more information, a link will be available on the Keweenaw Report webpage.
