After countless hours, intense conditioning and a challenging regional competition, Michigan Technological University has secured a place at the National Concrete Canoe Competition. Michigan Tech’s team, paddling in a concrete canoe they designed and built together, beat out several other schools’ competitors at the North Central regional competition last weekend at University of Detroit–Mercy. The team will compete against teams from 17 other regions at the NCCC, which will be held June 19th through the 21st at The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
