Michigan Tech’s Alumni Reunion gets underway today.
This year Tech will be recognizing the Golden M’s, alumni with 50 years or more.
Events include informal lectures from current faculty, cruises on the Keweenaw Waterway aboard the Ranger III as well as excursions aboard Michigan Tech’s research vessel Agassiz.
The highlight of the reunion is the Pasty Picnic this afternoon which is the largest attended event of the weekend.
The alumni breakfast is held Friday, as will be the Golden M Pinning Ceremony and luncheon with the alumni awards dinner and hockey game later in the evening.
The hockey game features current and former NHL stars who started out as Huskies.
Activities continue through Saturday.
