The Michigan State Police is holding an open house tomorrow at their post on US-41 in Calumet.
They’re inviting the public to stop in and meet members of the post, learn more about them, and possibly obtain career information.
They will be serving coffee and light refreshments.
During the event, they will also have displays and specialty units on site.
Some of these include members of the MSP emergency support team, the K-9 team, dive team, MSP forensics lab, motor carrier officers, car seat technicians, hometown security team and community service trooper.
The Michigan Center for Truck Safety will have a truck driving simulator set up and they will have a vintage 1975 Plymouth Fury patrol car on display.
The event runs from 10am to 2pm.
