A local band only has a couple of days left to gain support from the community in America’s Next Top Hit Maker competition. Mr Cesar and the Lucha Tones has made it to the Top 10 stage in voting, in Colossal’s America’s Next Top Hitmaker competition. The exciting opportunity has the local surf rock band competing against other talented musicians for a 10,000-dollar prize, an appearance in Rolling Stone magazine, and a spot on stage at Rolling Stone’s Future of Music Showcase in Texas. The band formed in 2023 and has developed a sound known for its unique take on traditional surf sounds. As well as an engaging live show with comedic and theatrical performances such as guitar battles and wrestling. All while the band’s members sport Luchador Masks while playing for the community. The band’s hopes don’t rely solely on their talents, however. Mr Cesar and the Lucha-tones ask the local community for support through the competition’s fan vote.
