General Motors is announcing four new recalls, involving 2.4 million vehicles. This makes 29 recalls from GM so far this year. The latest recalls involve 1.34 million 2009 to 2014 Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia full size crossovers and Saturn Outlook which have possible problems with a seat belt cable. Over one million 2004 to 2008 Chevrolet Malibus and 2005 to 2008 Pontiac G6 models have a transmission cable that could wear out over time. Brand new 2015 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV’s have a bad weld on the passenger side airbag while 58 2015 model Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra fullsize pickups have insecure clips on the generator fuse block that could be a fire hazard. There have been no fatalities associated with any these recalls. But, GM says four injuries have been connected to the issues in the mid size vehicles.
