Three more car companies have joined in a big airbag recall. This adds roughly three million airbags from Nissan, Honda and Mazda to earlier recalls from other manufacturers, bringing the total to roughly ten million. The bags were all manufactured by one supplier; Takata, a Japanese supplier. The concern is they could explode without warning, and even catch fire. No injuries have been reported in connection with the recall but previously two U.S. deaths were linked to the faulty air bags. The recalled cars were all made between 2000 and 2005.
