What better time of year than spring to start thinking of hockey?
After all, May in the Copper Country means winter is right around the corner.
Michigan Tech is hosting a Spring Hockey Carnival tonight at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena.
The public is invited to come have their picture taken with the MacNaughton Cup and get autographs from Huskies players and staff.
Youth are encouraged to bring their own hockey sticks to play floor hockey with Michigan Tech players.
The Huskies will also run skill sessions, which will include a chance to shoot against Tech goaltenders.
The event is free and runs from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
