Michigan Tech's Online Graduate Engineering Program Ranked By National Publication

Michigan Tech’s online graduate engineering program ranks in the top half of online graduate engineering programs nationwide, according to rankings just released by US News & World Report.

Tech Today reports that the university’s online graduate engineering program ranked 41 of 83 programs listed, tied with Florida International University and Wright State University.

Michigan Tech offers Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Engineering in Hybrid Electric Vehicle Drive Engineering and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering-Engineering Mechanics.

US News evaluated online programs on the basis of student engagement, admissions selectivity, peer reputation, faculty credentials and training, and student services and technology.

The magazine ranked online bachelor’s degree online programs and graduate programs in business, computer information technology, criminal justice, education, engineering and nursing.
