Michigan Tech Wraps Up This Year’s Winter Carnival

Another Michigan Tech Winter Carnival is in the Books.

This year’s overall winner was the ARMY ROTC.

First Place in the Women’s Division went to Alpha Sigma Tau and St. Albert the Great, took home the trophy for the Coed Division.

This year’s carnival saw its share of controversies.

The logo for this year’s carnival was replaced, when a dark skinned caveman type character was deemed insensitive.

Also, this year’s queen competition saw the first male student crowned, only to lose the title the next day, due to inappropriate behavior.
