Michigan Tech Student Receives $10,000 Ford Scholarship

The Alan Mulally Leadership in Engineering Scholarship is awarded globally by Ford to students showing outstanding performance in academics, leadership and community engagement.

The program is a $1 million fund with each scholarship worth $10,000. Ten students every year for ten years will receive the award.

This year, one of those students is Michigan Tech mechanical engineering major Michael Robinson.

Robinson plans on graduating Michigan Tech in December 2016. After that, he will have a major decision on where to work.

Ford is definitely on the short list of possible employers.
