Michigan Tech Honors Black History Month With Facebook Photo Exhibit

Michigan Tech is using a social media photo campaign to honor the African American community during Black History Month.

Throughout the month of February, the Center for Diversity and Inclusion are collaborating with students of color to create the Facebook campaign, www.facebook.com/CDIatTech.

Showcased in the exhibit are organizations, and students of color throughout Michigan Tech’s history.

The public is invited to get involved. Simply stop by the CDI Center on campus.

Other Black History Month activities at Michigan Tech include solidarity and poetry workshops and a reading by J Mase III on Feb. 11-12, and Spike Lee’s film “Malcolm X,” shown on Feb. 24.
