Michigan Soft On High Risk Drivers, Report Says

Michigan ranks poorly among the strictest states in the treatment of high risk drivers.

Wallethub.com ranks Michigan 47th in the country, making it the fifth most lenient state.

The ranking is based comparisons of insurance premiums for high-risk drivers, DUI laws and penalties for driving violations.

Arizona was the strictest. South Dakota was most lenient.
