Michigan Cities Rank Poorly In Personal Finance Habits

No Michigan city was in the top 20 in a new analysis of cities whose residents have the best personal finance habits.

That is, they pay their bills on time, and maintain a budget.

The analysis from Wallethub.com does however place two Michigan cities in the bottom 20 of the list.

East Lansing is sixth from the bottom and Mt. Pleasant is seventh from the bottom.

Cupertino, California was number one overall.

The analysis is based on metrics like credit score, mortgage debt-to-income ratio and average number of late payments.
