Meyer’s Contract Approved By Ishpeming School Board

The contract for the new Ishpeming Public Schools Superintendent is approved.

At a brief special meeting Monday night, the Board of Education approved the contract for outgoing L’Anse Area Schools Superintendent Carrie Meyer to take over the position.

No questions or concerns were raised.

The Ishpeming Board of Education were unanimously thrilled to bring Meyer to the school.

Interim Superintendent Anthony Bertucci says he and the rest of the board are particularly eager about the years of experience and the familiarity that Meyer will bring to Ishpeming.

Meyer will begin her new position on Monday, November 30th to allow her time to wrap things up with her position in L’Anse.
