Meeting Will Be Held To Discuss Calumet Township's 150th Sesquicentennial Celebration

It will have to be a big cake to hold all the candles, but Calumet Township is turning 150 this year.

A celebration is planned for August 19th and 20th and will include The Great Deer Chase, vendors in the park, a street dance, parade and fireworks.

The Sesquicentennial Committee will be holding a meeting on April 13th, at 6:30 pm in the upstairs of the Calumet Colosseum.

They are looking for businesses, organizations, and individuals who are interested in participating in celebrating this milestone in Calumet Township’s history.

If you have any questions, contact Debbie at the Calumet Township Office at 337-2410 or send an e-mail to calumettownship@pasty.net
